Swim Programs at the Michael Phelps Skill Center

The Saco Parks and Recreation Department is excited to partner with the Michael Phelps Skill Center to offer swim lessons throughout the 2013-2014 school year!  There are many class options available, with programs for all ages and abilities, and sessions running from fall to late spring. 

Divisions include:
Get Wet: ages 6 month-3 years
Pre-Beginner I: 3-4 years
Pre-Beginner II: 5 years
Beginner I: 3-6 years
Beginner II: 6 years +
Advanced Beginner I: 4-6 years
Advanced Beginner II: 7 years +
Intermediate: 5 years +
Just added for Session 3! Adult classes: Swimlates (combines Pilates exercises for the water and swimming), Fit and Swim and Triathlete Stroke Development

Please look under "Additional Forms and Files" below for complete course descriptions in our flyer and also a placement chart to help you determine which level your child is ready for.  Info on adult swimming fitness classes available as well!

Program Details
Location: Michael Phelps Skill Center at 15 Lund Rd., Saco
Fee: $90.00-$120.00 per session
Session Details: Half-hour to One-hour offered in 6 week programs:
Session 1: September 11th, 2013-October 16th, 2013
Session 2: October 23rd, 2013-December 4th, 2013 *No class on 11/27
Session 3: December 11th, 2013-January 29th, 2014 *No classes 12/25 or 1/1
Session 4: February 5th, 2014-March 19th, 2014 (Class will not be held during vacation)
Session 5: March 26th, 2014-May 7th, 2014 (Class will not be held during vacation)
Session 6: May 14th, 2014-June 18th, 2014
Max: 4 participants per class, per session. "Get Wet" parent and child program allows for 8 participants (4 children and 4 parent partners).
