Season Dates: August 27th, 2024 through October 20th, 2024
Grades 1&2 Jr. Field Hockey practices - Tuesdays 5:15-6:16pm
Grades 3-6 Youth Field Hockey practices - Wednesdays: 5:15-6:15pm
Games: weekend game/practice schedule will be primarily focused on Sundays, final schedules TBD dependent on inter-community game schedule
No games/practices during Labor Day weekend
Practice Location: Saco Middle School front field
Season Fees:
Jr. Field Hockey $60.00/resident; $65.00/non-resident.
Youth Field Hockey $70.00/resident; $75.00/non-resident.
Registrations received after August 16th will include a $5.00 late registration fee.
Required Equipment: sticks*, mouth guard, shin guards, and goggles.
*Field Hockey sticks are available for loan through the Saco Parks and Recreation Department - players will be sized at the first practice and can borrow the stick for the full season, no additional cost.

• SPR Youth Field Hockey programs were originally developed in the 1970’s by Coach Sue Spath, who has assisted our program in recent years.
• Coaches for the 2024 season have been committed to this program for many years! Angela Bolduc will be returning to SPR for her 22nd SEASON coaching youth field hockey for us, Daron Stryker is in her 6th year coaching, and Meg Gribbin is back for year 3 as our program administrator! Thank you to all of our coaches for your dedication to our program and growing the sport of field hockey in our area!
