Welcome to the Saco Parks and Recreation School’s Out 2024-2025 Information Page! This page will be used for updates throughout the summer and fall.

What is School’s Out? School’s Out is a program through Saco Parks and Recreation for Saco and Dayton students in PreK-5th grade in the 2024-2025 school year. 

School's Out services for the 2024-2025 school year include:
After the Bell for PreK, Grades K-2, and Grades 3-5: After School program includes Regular School Days, Early Release Days and Abbreviated Wednesdays

Full Days Off PreK-5th grade: Offered on vacation days, teacher professional development days, and holiday weeks - Open to Dayton students enrolled in our After the Bell program. Children must be already enrolled in the School's Out Program to participate in our Full Day Off Programs including the Holiday, February, and April school vacation weeks. New this year for Vacations/Full Day Off enrollments: we will be creating a separate enrollment option this year for those that plan only to use our program during vacation weeks or full days off. Participants MUST have attended summer camp in 2024 to be eligible so they are familiar with staff and program policies/format.

School Year Program Costs:
Annual Enrollment Fee: $25.00
After the Bell after care costs: $19.00/day
Full Days Off/Vacation Weeks: $38.00/day

Program Locations: Saco PreK Willey Road; Community Center Kinder-2nd Grade; C.K. Burns School Grades 3-5; Dayton Consolidated School PreK-5th Grade
SPR School’s Out 2024-2025 Dates: August 2024-June 2025
**Start dates for After the Bell (after school) dependent on Saco and Dayton School calendars and determined by grade. End of school year date determined by snow day use.

After the Bell Hours: school dismissal-5:30pm, Monday-Friday

Enrollment Opens: Tuesday, July 15, 2024 for Saco and Dayton Residents – NEW PROCESS!
• Full-Time 5-Day Per Week After Care Enrollment Opens from Monday, July 15th-Friday 26th, 2024: enrollment during these two weeks will be open ONLY to those needing full-time program attendance of 5 days per week.

• Part-Time After Care Enrollment Opens Monday, July 29th, 2024: enrollment will open to everyone, including those needing part-time attendance.

• Vacation weeks only: stay tuned for enrollment info

• Paperwork: Participants in summer programs for 2024 may request a rollover of paperwork; all others must complete a new Participant Contact Form and submit their request to the office.

Enrollment Closes: Friday, September 20, 2024 or as space allows - as it is typical for us to sell out, some programs may fill prior to deadline
